Die frühere und heutige Verbreitung der Wachsblumenbiene Osmia cerinthidis MORAWITZ 1876 in Bayern

Abstract

The former and present distribution of Osmia cerinthidis MOR., 1876, in Bavaria. -
The present distribution of Osmia cerinthidis MOR. is restricted to a small area in Eastern Bavaria. The
only pollen producer is Cerinthe minor (L.). As a completition the records of the last Century are listed.
In Southern Bavaria the species is extinct recently. Informations concerning the seasonal appearance,
the habitat selection and the reasons of endangerment are given.
